We hope you had a good break and returned to every day normality. For some of us that's back to work, for others it's back to school and maybe exams!.
The common question I have been asked over the past three weeks is "have you made a New Years resolution, and if so what is it. My answer is that that if I need to make a change in my life, I don't have to wait until the New Year to put change into action.
The reason however, that resolutions are such a tradition is that New Year is the time people think about their lives and the changes they want to make. Telling people may make you feel more accountable for your actions, or make you feel under more pressure.
I prefer to take stock throughout the year, and take little steps towards where I want to be. Whether you think resolutions are silly or not, it is important that you set goals whether in your personal or business life.
Take some time out to discover what is working for you and what isn't.. Don't repeat the mistakes of last year, learn from them and do it differently. Breakthroughs happens when you are open to them, and make time for reflection
Whatever changes you may wish to make to your life, We are committed to providing you with the best tools and strategies, therapies and support to help you achieve the changes you wish to make throughout 2013, whether its personal or professional, or changes within your family.
Happy New Year from all of us at the Lewis Bateson Centre.
